Over the years, Kiwanis Prince George has held a number of fundraisers to benefit charities and legacy projects such as golf tournaments, bingos, and community dinners. We've also built the Kiwanis Bandshell in Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park (formerly Fort George Park) and the Kiwanis Picnic Area in Cottonwood Island Park. When searching out a new community project, we decided to plan and host a craft beer tasting festival. Our inaugural event was a resounding success as we were able to raise over $11,000 towards the Ronald McDonald House of BC and a future Kiwanis legacy project here in Prince George. This event could not have gone on without many long volunteer hours, both before, during and after the event, and the support of many community-focused restaurants, breweries, and businesses. Through this, we have been able to make a difference in our community, the north, and the lives of many families. Thank you Prince George for helping to make this all possible. We hope that you enjoyed Kiwanis AleFest 2015 as much as we did. See you in 2016!
